The Cavs may well be swept tonight...if they are does Lebron still warrant finals MVP?My opinion is yes,Cavs probably don't even make the playoffs without him.Durant could make a case for himself if he goes off like he did last game

Maybe a dumb question and I’m confused . Is there a playoff mvp and finals mvp?

Well if there was a playoff mvp Lebron would get the playoff mvp!! Imo Lol. Durant or Curry imo should get the finals mvp barring a miracle.

I'm biased, since I'm not a LeBron fan, but I think the Finals MVP should be on the winning team. I feel the same way about MVP for pre-season tournaments in college basketball.
I agree unless say the series goes to 7 and Lebron averages say 40 10 10. Couple buzzer beaters. And nobody on the opposing favorite team really goes off but wins anyway or something with a little luck or something crazy .It would have to be a perfect storm I guess is what I’m trying to say.

Depends on tonight’s game, (or however many more it will take). After the first two games, I would have said curry, but Durant went OFF in game 3. We’ll see who steps up more tonight.

This is JMO but if you go by history, the Finals NBA MVP will most likely go to a Warriors player because there has only been one time that the NBA Finals went to a player on the losing team and that was the first year of the Finals MVP award when Jerry West won it.

If Lebron didn’t get it in 2015, there’s absolutely no way he’s getting it this year. In 2015, the mvp went to Iguodala who was averaging 16, 5, and 4. Lebron averaged 35, 13, and 8. To be fair, Iggy played some good defense, but Lebron took a team that had lost Kyrie and Kevin Love to 6 games against the Warriors. He was the real mvp that series. Lebron didn’t get it in a year where none of the star players from the Warriors had a memorable series. Since that’s the case, there’s no way he’s getting it with the blow up games KD and Steph have had already.
