Our running game has been strong. Our passing game is bad. Pretty much par for the course this season.Yeah, if we have an average offense we beat them. I hope Fitz has a plan to fix this next year.
Yeah, I felt our best shot was for Thorson and the WRs to make strong incremental development in the passing game given that they had about 5 weeks and what is basically equivalent to a spring camp worth of practices.
That clearly did not happen, and our running game is struggling because of it.
In addition, our all B1G CB being out has hurt, not because of Watkins being in but I bet those busted TE plays may have happened because we adjusted our LB and safety coverages to help out, when we'd normally leave Van Hoose on an island.
Because it's a bowl game, Fitz is going to start doing surprising things in the second half. Maybe a fake FG. I wouldn't be completely shocked if he calls an onsides kick to start the second half. I'm not advocating that, but Fitz tends to get a bit silly in bowl games.
Deapite a complete lack of offense, we are playing with UT. Can't give away points today.
We sure "played with them"..
The way dogs play with speeding cars.
This thread is priceless Pollyana blindness at its highest and most astoundingly brainwashed level...
We were playing with them in the first half. Take away the ill-timed Harris penalty and dropped INT, the whole complexion of the game is different.

Thank you. You sure you don't want to change your board name to Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles? I'm stunned by how blind you are to all of this. You must simply not know any better if you thought that game came down to 2 plays. No go and get your bleeping shine box.
