Hats off to Racki at Nazareth for committing to and sticking to playing all of his players, especially the seniors. I am hearing many schools not doing the same thing. It's sad since these kids came back to play and stuck it out through Covid for these coaches and programs. This spring season goes beyond just wins and losses! This week will probably be the last time most of these seniors will put on a helmet. All Coaches, check your egos at the gate and play the kids!!

Or you could just schedule JV games and play them there like everyone else.

Oh I have a feeling that if McCarthy, Keeler and Co. have stayed that he might have a different approach to this season.

I have not watched naz once this year. Is there truth to original post insinuating that naz was shut out the last two games because they played less than their most talented lineup?

I don't see him insinuating Naz was shutout because who they've played. Truth yes Naz has been shut out the last 2 games. Also true that Naz has played rostered player even upto 4 QBs in some games. I think Racki would have done the same no matter who was still there. IMO this season isnt about wins and losses but development. Unfortunately Naz hasn't been able to stay healthy either so developing underclassmen will help next year.

With Morris committing to Michigan do you think he plays his senior year or does he finish up public so he can go to Ann Arbor in Jan?

I was under the impression with his injury he was out for the fall. If that is the case, it makes sense to transfer and head to Ann Arbor next spring

I didn't know it was that serious...the downfalls of Spring...I know MC has a couple players with some tears that are missing the Fall due to Spring injuries.....part of the game but still unfortunate.

This lionizing Racki is getting a little much. I was at the Marist game, and i noticed nothing that much out of normal. The starters played the majority of the game. The reason he played multiple QBs is that, in my opinion, there was no real difference in them. Yes it is good to get the kids playing time and good for him, but how about doing it and stop publicizing it. Just do it. Or do it when you have a stud team and the season means something. I feel that next year this will not happen and it’s a nice built in excuse for a down year.

It will be real interesting to see how Naz does moving forward. Numbers appear to be a huge issue. Their roster lists 18 Juniors, 16 Sophomores and 18 Freshmen in the entire football program. It is really tough to be competitive, let alone successful with those numbers. This year's varsity does not appear to be on the level of the previous 5 or 6 years and the lower levels are not strong. Will be an interesting fall for the Roadrunners.

The mighty can fall quickly ... Althoff is now a soccer school. And the first of many sons of one of the most decorated Linebacker families in ACHS history is playing SOCCER.
