Keyshawn Greene is visiting right before signing day and you guys are in here talking about nonsense. The fastest LB in the country, instinctive..down hill LB..exactly what we missed last year. It is essentially down to NU vs Miami. This is getting real spicy! You guys are in here being winy and this may be the best class NU has ever had. We are in on some talent..

Lb- Johnson and Greene
WR- manning, Fleming, Robinson
DB- Green Warren and Francois

Not to be a downer, but I believe Green-Warren is down to Michigan and USC, sounds like Robinson will stick with Georgia, and Miami is the heavy favorite for Greene. Miami has an in-home visit with Greene tomorrow and will be pushing hard for him to commit and not visit Nebraska. If we can get him to campus, we've got a shot.

Alante Brown is the most likely WR recruit on our board, and I think we'll get Jamari Butler at LB.

Along with Omar Manning at WR. If we land Marcus Fleming and O Manning or Brown I’d be happy with our WRs. And I haven’t heard a thing about Green-Warren being down to Michigan and USC only. I believe it’s a three way race at the moment.

Hope they're wrong, but most recruiting "experts" are saying we're a distant 3rd. His family said they want him at Michigan. A Michigan site said this:

Green-Warren has talked about narrowing his choices down and it feels like there are two serious contenders: USC and Michigan. The corner told The Michigan Insider ($) he’s down to three.

“Michigan is right there though, and I’m serious about them. I canceled my visit to Penn State and I’m focusing on Michigan, SC, and Nebraska.”

Nebraska has been a dark horse and while the Huskers appear to still be in the mix, it’s somewhat obvious that Green-Warren’s decision is really down to the Trojans and Wolverines.

No locks here but once you get down to the top 3 anything can happen. Let the huskers deplore their platoon on his house and see what happens. Last year it was enough for Ty Robinson and Pola Gates. If the Michigan writers were so confident they would of put in their Crystal Ball for the home team. Same goes for USC analyst and reporters. Lets not forget the Nastradamus of predictions Wiltfong. Until Fong drops bomb its up in the air! Robinson is committed, it will be sudden if he flips for the good guys.Greene has yet to visit Huskers so I expect UM to be in the lead. Good news is that it looks like it is us vs them...just need to get him on campus which will give us the last word!

I know that Callahan class is what everyone hangs their hat on, and of course this is in hindsight...but there tons of busts in that class. I would bet money on Morrison being better than Lucky right now.
2nd thing that people forget is out of there top 10 rated players they brought in..4 or 5 were juco. I will always prefer a highly rated HS kid to a highly rated juco kid..One can contribute for 2 years and the other 4. Suh is the obvious Elephant in the class and it would still be seen if one of these kids can be that kind of player. Lets see how it plays out with this class.

when was the last time we brought in 10+ 4-star players?

if the staff closes like some say they could, it would be a gigantic boon for a team desperately in need of good news.

So much boon. Incredible boon, so much that we'd have to farm all that boon

Well how quick we forget. You would have to go all the way back to that "lazy" recruiter Bo Pelini my friend.

In 2011 he brought in a class that Rivals says had 11 four star **** and seven 3 star players.

Unfortunately alot of those players were better suited for Big 12 play so they didn't really make an impact for Nebraska. Pelini being more loyal to players and not trimming the fat as Frost has been doing was his biggest weakness.

That being said he still was able to win 9-10 games every year after regardless....

ah, yes, how quickly we forget things that happened *8* years ago & turned out to be, well, quite forgettable.

Do you post about anything other than Bo Pelini?

Man, I have horrible memories of that stuff.
Never had the stuff, it was always there at sorority parties
Funniest memory that I have of Boones is that a display of the stuff next to a walk in freezer at No Frills in Omaha. Coworker of mine would get loaded up on Boones Farm and Snickers Ice Cream bars in the walk in freezer. He'd grab a couple of bottles and stash them in there for his Boons/Snickers break

Our national championship came with power football. Frost remembers this. A no-brainer...
Our itty-bitty committee was a part of the success, but of course we didn’t win games because of our passing attack. The joke was that Frost is bringing back the 90s. I thought it was obvious it was a joke, but guess not.

Now you know.

Crystal balls rolling in for Michigan tonight for Green-Warren.
