They must be idiots for not bailing on Moorhead

Edit: I suppose sarcasterisks are necessary for a reason. I’ve now drawn the ire of Rupert and co.

Holy cow, this fan base needs a purge. Some of our best players are saying they might come back and all y’all do is try to make a dig at Moorehead.

We need willie back big time, I'm not sure if he will go 1st 2 round or not. He is a awesome linebacker. With 1 more year he may go 1st round. Cam needs to come back if he isnt gonna go 1 or 2 round. Eroll needs to come back as well. The only one that may be able to leave is hill. He might go 1 or 2 round. Next year that defense is gonna be great again. Just have to get the damn offense going.

Not if you want a consistently good program. That starts at the bottom, i.e. the fans. That’s how this thing is built. The coach is a result of what your program can attract.
Sorry Goat. The fans proved that they'd show up if the coach was building something. How many consecutive years did we have sell outs? We've showed up and it was built.

You’re wrong. You have to show up in tough times too. That’s how you win ****.

100% agree with Situation...a program isn't created or sustained by a coach or players....it is one thing. THE FANS!!!

You’re part of the reason we aren’t where we want to be. Not to mention we are a small school in a small state so we have to do it better than the competition.

You’re just wrong. I wish I could change the minds of fans like you but it’s not happening.

If the tough times are a result of one, you become an enabler. I'm not wrong, our history has proven it.
Our history is bad. A big reason for it was our small fanbase. We have to be better.

Criticize all you want. Demand changes. Yell at the AD. But you can’t stop coming to games and donating money. That hurts us. That’s not enabling.

Remember.....we are ALWAYS recruiting.

Our history is bad because we've had bad leadership at the top. Our fanbase is small because of hiring and retaining bad/losing coaches by chincy/and inept administrations like we apparently have now. Our fanbase is actually larger than it should be given the adversity we've brought on ourselves.

And a man making $3 million a year should realize this also, yet, in his brilliance, he thumbed his nose at them. He could have talked about the game, making improvements, the upcoming bowl game, but he didn't. He let his his ego rule the day. I liked Joe and hoped for the best, but he has let me down.

You break the trend by having a committed fanbase.

Look I’m not insisting that we are going to GROW the fanbase in tough times. But our existing fans should not abandon the program during those times when they are needed most.

Geez, I mean think about the greater good for once rather than your own entertainment. And don’t try the ‘it’s football routine’. We all care a great deal about it or we wouldn’t be here arguing.

Grow up.

Having garbage fans that make negative **** up and spread it all over the I ternet pretending they are somehow connected and in the know does not help. And I'm sure if you guys stop giving your donations the program will fold....lol. Cohen and the administration isnt nearly as smart as posters on an internet site

Did the coach not just tell the fanbase if we didn't like what he was doing to "kick rocks" or "pound sand" or some other silly **** ? You can kiss his *** all you want but don't expect everyone to fall in behind you. And as far as "greater good" please explain what you've seen this loser POS do that makes you think he is good for MSU ?

Nobody said you have to like Moorhead. You aren’t getting the message.

You support the program in the tough times. Criticize, boo, whatever. But show up and donate. If nothing else, to help the next guy.

No. He didn't. He was referring to a group of people that lied stating he was fired, contracts had been signed and win or lose Moorhead was gone. The buy out was 4 million and if Jo won, he would announce it after the game during the presser, if he lost, the following day.

NOT only that, they claimed to have direct knowledge of it from our AD and was speaking with the AD's consent.

As it has been pointed out by alot of people, it was making it to social media and to recruits. Moorhead was NOT being fired and the world was watching. So he pointed them out, they know who they are and he let the recruits and team know they lied...... and it was not on the behalf of the AD.

And I have no doubt the same people that were involved are screaming the loudest right now and will again start things up.
