Toure - I think his presence will be a game changer for Frost and Martinez. I believe he will be a better football player than Morgan was in 2018 and expect the production to be similar or exceed what Morgan did as a SR (2nd team all Big Ten and 1000 yard receiver). I fully expect this to be the first WR this staff has drafted.

Sichtermann - I realize that players mature at different rates but fact he couldn't beat out Hixson/Wilson in 2019 was brought up by another poster and cannot be overlooked. I know he is now better than Hixson but I still half expect Banks to be starting at that RG position once Corcoran is a 100% go. Here is hoping that he is just a late bloomer and Banks can provide a quality rotation body.

Corcoran - The kids first start against Rutgers was extremely impressive and probably not talked about enough. I think he is on all Conference lists with Jurgens going into 2022 and is my pick for breakout player.

CTB - only have him as runner up because I think Toure impact will be more noticeable. We expect CTB to be good where WR has been abysmal since Morgan/Spielmann in 2018.

Caleb Tannor runner up on the skeptical. Dude looks like Tarzan and has played like Jane thus far. Here is hoping for better from him and the pass rush in 2021

Martinez Runner Up for Breakout Player (I think he is going to have a running game that puts him in manageable situations a much higher percentage of the time, I believe this WR core went from putrid in 2019 and 2020 to absolutely legit (includes multiple future NFL players in two deep) and I think he is truly dialed in this year mentally and with training (looks in excellent condition). Expecting a 25% jump from Freshman numbers with this supporting cast or about 3200 yards and 22/6 TD to Int. This is by no means great, but would allow team to have a chance at West and that 8 game mark.

1. JoJo (He just seems like the leader this fall)
2. Liewer (That token receiver to make all the other ones work harder... way to much hype)
3. Ty Robinson (He just seems so calm and collected, ready to silently kill people)

There was a rumor that Omar is possibly flaking again because Betts and Liewer are really coming on.
Would not surprise me one bit. Never got a straight answer why he couldn't get on the field in some capacity last year even a little bit. Something not right about that kid. Liewer is going for broke. Why not? Nothing to lose. All gas, no brakes!

best case would be 1 or 2 O-linemen [Corcoran, Jurgens (finally), or someone else] takes a meaningful step forward. I really do think our line in 2022 has a chance to be really good

can we find a bell cow RB? we'll see

will the WRs have a chance to showcase themselves through uneven QB play? we'll see

do any of our CBs have the man-to-man skills to be left on an island? we'll see

do we have a single pass rusher offenses will have to pay attention to in 3rd & long situations? we'll see

can our safeties keep their head up in run defense while also accounting for overall lack of speed over the top? we'll see
