This guy is with the times. He doesn't mind doing whatever he needs to win. I'm not expecting a national championship but the more I see the more I believe he will get Kentucky back to Stoops best years. Fairly quick.

He's a first time head coach but moving like he's done this before. Can't really say how many games we win but I think the difference with Stein will be we compete every single game.

Excited to see UK be on the attack on the offensive side of the ball.

How can he give up play calling when he hasn’t coached a game??? And this guy was brought in because of his play calling and offensive mindset. He needs to be heavily involved in play calling or this was a bad hire.
How is this news to you?? Stein has said this since he was hired. You really think he just would hire an OC and have them install whatever they want 🙄

Since I started watching UK football in 1966 I've seen this movie a bunch of times. I gotta see us actually play a few before I get on the " hype train". But the rest of you guys enjoy it while you can.
I'm about 10 years behind you but I understand. I plan to enjoy this season, but not get too excited or expect great things....just yet.

I would feel much better if he were calling the plays but I understand the approach. Good news is I think its pretty clear Sloan is just executing his game plan and playbook.

Other good news is if Sloan doesn't cut it, we know we have an elite guy to just take it over.

Dc is where i am most concerned. Obviously we have a good recruiter, but he had his play calling privilege revoked at his last stop. Hopefully he improves, but getting demoted doesn't exactly instill confidence.

He's got an OC and staff to make adjustments and get the play calls signaled in. A head coach needs to let that go except for being in the loop for crucial calls.

95% of the people soooo excited is because they read all these fluff articles and take what’s written as facts. Probably 50% of what you read is made up out of thin air.
I went to the spring game as I have for 20+ years. We didn’t look very good to me. My son felt the same way.
Im with you. I will believe it when I see it.
