Since I either go to games or watch them on BTN I don't often listen to the games on the radio. I listened to the second half of the Stony Brook game, or at least I tried to. Jerry Recco (sp?) was absolutely brutal. I could barely follow the game at all and had pretty much no idea of what actually happened in the last 15 seconds.

We all didn't know wtf was going on in the last 15 seconds either and we were there.
Recco is pretty good...about 1000x better than Carlin who was awful for hoops
Thought Bruce Johnson was pretty good and kind of got screwed.
Maybe I'm just being nostalgic or sentimental, but I miss Bruce and Dick Lloyd doing our radio broadcasts. Would love to hear them call games in the Pikiell era. "Moving left to right on your radio dial..."

Bruce was great calling hoops, not so good at football.

Man, I was getting worried. This board hadn't complained about something in the last 24 hours. 
Maybe so with the lines, but you always knew exactly where the ball was and what was going on. A good play by play guy makes you feel like you're watching the game, and Bruce did just that. Recco, no way.
The thing I want from a radio announcer :let me know where the ball is , score and time . Pretty much in that order . Carlin never understood that . Bruce was corny, but he understood. Haven’t listened to recco. Either go to games or watch on tv. And the ones that aren’t I don’t bother with.
I’m in the minority and could not stand him in the era where a lot of games
