Strange for VCU’s coach to wave the white flag when they entered the inning only down two runs. I kind of feel bad for this pitcher who has been left out there to get shelled for nine runs.

He can get any needed work in the bullpen, he can get lathered up in there. No need for live game action and stress on his arm, that would be one inning less than we likely would have him for if needed tomorrow.

We need James, Cumbest, and Clark to continue to contribute and that would make us really dangerous in a tournament setting.

I keep forgetting that we have four freshmen starting. This far along in the season there are no freshmen any longer, especially after this weekend.
