If you don't think doctors/surgeons talk amongst themselves, you're only fooling yourself. ESPECIALLY when you're dealing with a UK athlete. Everyone around is a rabid fan. Non-specific info about a non-specific person isn't a HIPAA violation right?
I feel good about the information. As one poster put it, believe who/what you want. I've heard two speculations about the nature of the injury but haven't shared because I'm not sure how ironclad they are.
PJ Washington has played his last days in a UK uniform. Doesn't want to hurt his draft status and look immobile on the court, which sucks because we need him against Houston but its the right move for a guy thats going in the lotto. I've said much more about where I obtained my info than most do. Do you want me to state a person's name? Would that change how you perceive the information? A Google search could land me the head of surgery at UK and the name of the financial advisor most kids utilize out of college.

As stated before, wife works with local doctor, connected through UK hospital. Obviously not the specialists who are dealing with PJ but they were right about him missing first weekend.
Figured I'd continue to spread the cheer, well received or not.
I'm a doctor. I work with multiple MD's that trained at UK. There have been firings in the UK health system over health information of student athletes. Everyone on the medical staff knows not to ask.
If so will he still be ready to play Friday?
UK doesnt want to give Houston any edge.

if he's injured he's not playing to protect his draft status...you don't play and make an injury worse when you've got a million reasons not to play.
