Anybody else actually a fan? i love what he did for our program and i hope he makes the tourney this year and shakes things up. Best coach we've ever had in my book.

I’m a fan of his coaching. Not necessarily a fan of the person. Frankly, never understood the hate for him even after he ended up at Louisville. He brought us through some rough times and much like Calipari put the wind in our sails.
He's the best at giving UK fans the finger after getting his *** kicked again.

I am torn. Tremendous coach, and can be a very like-able guy. It is hard to reconcile a lot of his actions.
Loved the killer instinct he had as a coach.
Loved the passion he had as a coach.
Loved that he was about winning at Kentucky as a coach.
That post probation run was probably the most I've ever enjoyed UK Bball.
Great coach who did a lot of things for UK and was always intensely competitive, sometimes a little bit too competitive. I met him a few times and found him to be very warm and likable and I'm more than willing to forgive his occasional lapses of judgment.

I think we remember things as being better than they actually were. He’s a good coach don’t get me wrong, but give me Swaggy Cal every day of the week!! Cal bent him over and spanked him head to head!
He hasn't coached at UK in about 25 years so he really doesn't cross my mind anymore. Iona is a good place for him to land. It is a step above High Point, another good school for one of our past coaches to finish their career.

If anything, a lot of people aren't remembering just how good things were. We've allowed our standards to slowly slide downward.
