Once they get back into the flow of the season and get the control stuff back to normal…..yeesh
The depth is insane too. Most college staffs end up only trusting 5 or 6 arms. I’m sure we will have our primary 5-6 guys but even the 9th and 10th man on this staff has a lot of potential.
Right, we didn’t see Seagraves, Johnson, Percival who have all shown they can be successful.
Anybody know if there are any health concerns with those three? Surprised we didn’t see Seagraves in particular if he is healthy
Came to ask this question. Was really hoping to see OJ or Seagraves in the first game yesterday instead of Padgett for a second time.
I think there were 2 priorities:
-get your main guys work (matty, Padgett, Walker, chewie) because you need them ON next weekend
-get the freshmen/flannery into the games in meaningful spots so if they have to go vs ECU it isn’t their first outing
third priority would be the more depth/experience guys

Could they also be saving OJ/Seagraves as midweek starters for the 2 games this week?
Think we may see Cam and Olin start the midweeks this week
percival is coming off an injury as well, so may want to get him work in the midweeks as well to ramp back up.
Aside from Glauber, pretty much everyone else was great (Walker gave up a run, lol). Obviously his control issues were the problem, not getting hit around the yard. First outings in college, tough weather before the season. Hoping he finds his control soon. Clearly Forbes thinks he can be a big contributor this year as a frosh.
