Pretty sure with how much they threw this weekend and with State up Thursday, we will see no Globe or Duff. So Rose starts and we need some of Padgett, Seagraves, Chewie, and Matthew to step up ?
I agree. We’ve got to get those pitchers some work. We can’t win what our goals are without being able to trust someone else. I hope not getting work at the expense of a loss, but it’s time for those guys to step up.Seems right to me. I would rather not see Glauber or McDuffie in this game.
Could be the last real game to get some of those arms that slot in as our 7th through 10th options in the game before a regional, assuming the series at State and the ACCT afterwards are able to stay “on script” for UNC.
Hopefully we can get Padgett, Seagraves and Matthijs all on the mound at Wilmington.
Flannery does have good stuff. It seems in one of his last outings, he about threw a few pitches over the backstop. It doesn’t seem like he has been out there since?I would like to see Flannery. While he tends to walk too many batters, which inflates his WHIP. his overall stats are better than those mentioned, Here is a comparison of Flannery, Padgett, Matthijs and Seagraves:
ERA
Flannery 3.44
Matthijs 5.32
Padgett 5.66
Seagraves 6.23

Same for Olin Johnson?Do we know if Percival is 100% done for the year?
Seems like his stuff should play up out of the pen. I was sitting down low for one of his mid-week starts he came out throwing 97 and the stuff looked electric. By the third he was low 90s and getting knocked around. If we can trust him to throw strikes, would love him to be a weapon for a short stint out of the penI would like to see Flannery. NiceWhat was it that Annie Savoy told Nook to wear under his uniform? Maybe Flannery needs to try that? or breathe through his eyelids.
