Pitch clock

It’s been 2-3 years since I’ve been to a State game and have only been able to watch the games that have came on TV as I just finally got fiber yesterday, but I don’t remember a pitch clock being mentioned in the games I’ve watched. I noticed the clock for the first time Sunday. I knew MiLB went to a pitch clock for a trial run for the bigs a couple years ago but really hadn’t thought much else of it. Has this been a thing all year or just a CWS thing? Maybe I just need to pay more attention.

There has been a pitch clock on the scoreboard at Dudy Noble for at least a couple of years. However, I thought it was only in play with no runners on base.
