Thought the Bears looked sloppy but showed potential in opener. A lot of that is just breaking in the new offense. My main takeaways from the first game
-The new QB looks like he's gonna be a good one for us. Especially liked the way he runs the ball, very shifty
-Parrott has somehow managed to get even better. The kids a beast. He will get those fumbles under control
-I really like the new offense. We are gonna score a lot of points this year
-Our defense is nasty. They may get beat deep against faster teams but they attack the run with ferocity.
I think Enka is about par for the course for them this year and the Bears will win it handily after fixing a lot of the first game problems.
Bears 42 Enka 7

I say a close first quarter with Bears scoring twice in the second then opening it up in the second half. Used to really enjoy this game for the hitting but it's been pretty soft in recent years. Anyway, I've got it Bears 34, Jets 10

Fumbles? Parrot only fumbled once. Fumbles is plural meaning two or more.
Did you mean to say the team will get the fumbles under control?

Both. Parrot had two fumbles. One in the end zone and one on QB exchange. Looked like he left a bit early on QB exchange one, but you couldn't know for sure unless you knew play call. It looked like he left early from the coaches talking to him after the play on the sideline. Saying that, 11 carries for around 150 yards is a studly stat line, especially for someone being recruited as a fullback! He looked like the total package to me, and I'm a big fan of his! No need to defend him to me

I was standing on the sidelines. Saw it first hand. He wasn't even looking for the hand off. That one was on the qb.

Why does it matter? Are you a parent or something? It sure seems like it.... I don't care whose fault it is, I'm just saying the mistakes will be taken care of. Your sons a great player by the way

Not a parent of any football players. Just wanting to know how you can say it's his fumble when the ball wasn't in his hands.

I see! Well I think we can both agree that the Bears were sloppy at times but showed potential. If they clean it up they can have a special season for Milltown! Go Bears!

First game with wet field and ball. Not to bad I'd say. Plus the turf seemed really slick Friday night for some reason. They have great potential tho. Onward to a Enka smack down.

ACR put it on the ground 7 times......thankfully we lost none of them. Mostly bad snaps QB had to fall on and a snap over punters head for safety. Rain and football didn't mix well for us! ;)

Asheville overcame 5 lost fumbles in the Pit!? WOW. If that don't send a statement. Sounds like one heck of a battle among the top 3 in the y'alls conference.

Bears win 46-7 in a game that was never in question. Bears could have scored however they wanted in that game. Morgan scored three TDs, Fabio 2, Fisher 1(passing TD), Wike 5 (3 passing 2 rushing). Parrott ran the ball with his usual punishment of defenders, and seemed to have a ton of yards. On defense Enka couldn't move the ball and really like how Agressive Rogers and Morgan play in secondary. That attitude is contagious! On to Asheville!
