Great game for the first game of the year for both teams.Thought the Bears just wore Murphy down in second half. You Murphy guys need to quit making excuses.I remind you Our QB running back went out in the first QT. Murphy will be fine as will my Bears. Good luck against Franklin.
Murphy played the whole second half with there 3rd string runningback. On defense played the whole game without there starting strong safety and weakside linebacker, and the second half without there starting strongside linebacker. That's not an excuse it's a fact. Pisgah had one of there starters miss most of the game, thats also a fact.

You guys will get beat in 1st round of the playoffs , your line is not physical .
Both teams showed they can have a good defense when healthy. Both teams need work offensively. Murphy inexperience at QB and on the o-line hurt. Pisgah inexperience at QB hurt.

Again you don’t know squat. Ask Murphy how physical our line is. We held Murphy’s running game in check all night. They had all of their starting linemen, and McTaggert didn’t get injured until late in the 3rd quarter. And Franklin won’t beat us this year. I think you are infatuated with Pisgah but you just won’t admit it.
He got injured with about 2 minutes to go in the 2nd Q on the Dorsey interception return. But I agree that Pisgah was good up front on defense and will be tough against the run. Pisgah has a much better run defense this year.
Lang and McTaggert are both really good running backs. And #28 had some good runs too.
You know mrpud, your team has had great success recently with some really excellent teams. As far as tradition and long term success goes it ain't there. So keep flapping them gums like the new kid on the block that y'all are. Murphy is a machine and they act as if they've been there before, unlike you.
How good Pisgah and Murphy end up being will come down to QB play and both QBs struggled tonight outside of one real good throw from #2. In Murphys case the line didn't do him any favors. Both QBs are inexperienced and will hopefully improve with more reps.

Good defensive battle tonight. Both teams still trying to find offense, which most teams are. #28 for Murphy is great player. He's missing his O line from last year for sure tho. Murphy will definitely get be ready by conference play.
Pisgah's D played lights out. They were getting tired in the 4th qtr tho. Pisgah's O will get better with playing time. Hopefully Wike heals up fast.

Let's look at the facts...you are an idiot. We were favored to beat Murphy by 7, and we did. They had two starters out at the beginning of the game, and another left the field late in the 2nd qtr. 2 + 1 =3 players out for Murphy, not half of their players, dumba$$. ( Your math is just as bad as your grammar) Our best offensive wide receiver, cornerback, and backup QB was injured in the first few plays of the game and never returned. Big loss for the Bears on the field and in the offensive huddle. Injuries happen, but you go ahead and play the game anyway. As for the state playoffs, we have the potenial to make a deep run. No one on here has said state championship. That's the honest truth answer from your idiot post.

I am not saying you have a bad team, Pisgah is good solid team, not a deep playoff team in my opinion .hendersonville matches up with you with more speed, both teams need work on the offensive line. Franklin line is better then both you and hend the conf is wideopen. Should be fun year.

From the self proclaimed village idiot's opinion AKA AlbinoPolar Bear this game was a big win for the Bears because of the issues on offense. We lost our biggest offensive threat on the first drive. On that drive alone #8 threw to #3 about 5 times. He only had 17 attempts for the whole night. It's tough to be a sophomore starting your first game in that situation, so the defense coming up so big showed me that the Bears are a force to be wreckoned with on that side of the ball, and can fix the offense with some healing and experience. Saying that, I'm ready for the Bears to fix it, sign Dez Bryant, and then beat whoever the East puts against us in the Finals.
