I don't think you're giving him enough credit. There is a reason he was the #1 focus of our defense tonight. He has struggled this season because he has had to do so much by himself. I think he will make a solid point guard in the NBA.

Nope, can't happen. He was only a 3 star coming out of HS! Only 5's and 4'S.

The flopping is one thing but the more annoying thing to me is as soon as a defender is near him he gets disgusted and slings his arm up and pushes off every time. I've never seen someone seek calls and contact every second of the game. If someone comes over a screen with him it's an explosion of arm flails every time
That’s what this new age of superstar basketball player does just go look at Lebron James and that will tell you all you need to know on why Pippen acts the way he does!

Glad to see so many call out this little girl playing total ****** basketball . I was so entirely hacked off , after the T the refs called about 3 calls against that let Vandy get back in the game , put them in the bonus where they got free points . Cant stand Stasckhouse .. he goes nuts on a no call that was clearly .. crystal clear , not a foul .. our guy goes vertical and even backs off , and their flopping shooter cant flail enough to get a call . Man I hate this current version of Vandy . and I think Stack has a little Juwan Howard in him .
That call here you were talking about I just knew the ref was going to call a foul against UK. This type of play is 'taught' by the coaching staff. I'm glad the ref saw what it really was.

I don't like flopping any more than the next fan; however, it is the refs who are allowing it to happen. If we can see that it is a flop, so can the refs. If they stop calling it as well as stop allowing Vandy to get away with the illegal screens, Vandy would stop doing it. If the refs aren't going to stop it, Vandy would be a fool to stop using it. Instead of complaining about it, some of our players should start doing it.

What's bad is that Pippen is a good player, good players don't have to flop. You have three refs on the floor and surely two can see flopping activity when it happens like last night when Pippen threw his head back like he had been shot. Why are refs so quick to call that when most of the time it's a flop. It's the refs that look foolish when they make that call. Kennedy Chandler is another one who will do that today, in addition to act like he's dying on the floor only to return 5 minutes later with no sign of an injury.

I hate that basketball has come to this. About 15 years ago the violent head snap started and now we have this. Harden expanded it by hooking players arms coming through a screen to draw contact and gets the whistle every time. Pippen does something similar and he also drives to seek contact. He played poorly because Oscar didn't fall for it. Oscar laid off until pippen went up. And pippen many times will jump backwards into a guy.

You would think as great as Scotty was and playing hard nosed offense and defense that he would taught him better. Stackhouse didn't do that either so it's curious to know how he learned that.........

The answer is harden, ginobili, trae young, Chris Paul, Kyle Lowry, LeBron, Marcus smart and countless other college players who aren't good enough otherwise so they have resort to this to cheapen the game.

Jordan Wright is a much better player for Vandy that Pippen IMO. Was impressed with his play last night.

I hope our player never act like that ! I don't want someone to say we play like Vandy or Duke.
This. I'd rather lose every game than to root for a bunch of acting and selling calls. Play the game with intensity but at the same time respect it otherwise it means nothing. That's why I hate Dook so much, their play disrespects the game by introducing fakery into it which cheapens the game.

I think he will go the NBA this season. He probably could have gone last season. But he led the SEC in scoring this year and I expect he is gone. I actually hope he is gone.
Vandy actually might be better when he is gone. He is selfish, doesn't play defense, and gets a good chunk of his points on the line to pad his averages. He is a third rate player

I believe after a while it becomes counter productive. You become known as a flopper and the refs start looking for it. Then when you actually get fouled the refs just think you are acting again. There were a couple times he looked like he was fouled while driving but didn't get the call.

Funny thing is..Pippen is a darn good player
He doesn’t need that protection
I think he would be much better without this crap. Many times he does not even try to score, just get a foul called. If he just played basketball some of those chances would go in.

It also seems like he is so into this fake foul stuff that when refs aren’t calling them it affects his effort. Kind of like Cal talking about players letting their offense affect their defensive effort.

Pippin Jr is a solid player but last night at times he was just dribbling around in circles looking for a a player to foul him and not really looking to set up the offense. As far as Coach Stack..he has quickly become my least favorite SEC coach.

Absolutely not. You have to have respect for yourself. How about people behave honorably instead of cheating? Flopping is a disgrace period.

That ******** deserves retaliation. Somebody needs to give him a reason to flail next time he goes to the basket.
Some of you guys need to stop crying about everything that doesn't seem to go Kentucky's way. UK fans are upset about flops opposing teams think Oscar stays in the lane too long. Every fanbase thinks his team is getting screwed.

The video is of Trey Young. And I can’t for the life of me understand how somebody could defend flopping.
