Ok, I understand what you are saying. I was wondering if needed to read between the lines. Unsure why it’s frustrating though. I hope all the critics are wrong. But we need wins and we need them now.
It is frustrating because it is mostly good news. But I can’t divulge what they said since I told them I would not repeat it.
That’s fine I’m not asking you to divulge anything. I have no interest in any talk just want to see results on the field. As we know all the “positive things” we’ve been told over the last decade have been mostly fruitless. Again, let see it equate to success on the field. I’m not critical of Rhule. He is far better than his predecessor.
I assumed he meant some of the things he heard about the previous regime were frustrating.
It’s time to let it go. It may be an exhibition, but gawd damn, it’s been a long time. Lay it on the line and let it go. If not for yourself, for the fan base.
Some may not like the cut of Rhule’s gib, but he’s trying to run a proper football program.

No. I am full of **** for being critical of Rhule in the past. My conversations tonight with the parents of husker players have been very positive about Rhule

Ok, it’s all good. I am having holiday stress, pre-husker game anxiety and was quick to pounce. Hoping we make BC look foolish tomorrow
BC 24 NU 17. BC scores two TDs in the first half in a game similar to our UCLA game where we can't get off the field on 3rd down. NU comes back to 14-17, but BC ices it with a long bomb TD off play action to their freshman deep threat. NU manages a FG to pull to 17-24, but a final opportunity to tie it up fails with NU not converting on 4th and 4 at BC's 40 with 15 seconds left. NU starts its final drive with 2:56 and one time out, but questionable clock management causes the Cornhuskers to run out of time.
