I see Stepinac did win and Griffin scored 10. How long did coach stay? In the last game Linden defeated Pope John XXIII by 80-66 and Tavon Jones scored 32. He had 29 yesterday in the 74-45 win over North Bergen. The Patrick School also defeated Camden by quite a bit. Maybe coach was watching Manuel as well.

That is why I asked how long Coach stayed at the games yesterday. Coach saw Tavon play several times last year. I am not sure about this season.

Griffin does not exactly scream high level athlete.

He does perform well in a good conference though, and can play either guard position.

He is a typical Pikiell player. Long wingspan, plays more than one position, nice kid, etc.

Thanks for link,Dave.

HIs coach saying he will score in bunches is not reflective of where his recruiting is at the moment.

One high major offer they said. What are all the coaches waiting to see?

Rutgers has a surplus of players at the 2 guard position ,ie, Baker,Kiss,Mathis and Harper. They need a point guard and a taller small forward who is a 3 point shooter.

Judging by who RU is recruiting right now they seems to think they need more wings/point guards.
Exactly. Pikiell knows he needs three point shooters desperately. The other teams that are successful don't just have one or two guys that shoot the three. They have three or four options on the floor at any given time.
