Ya gotta love this guy. Can’t say it enough.

Sure, lots of credit to go around — coaches, administration, players, fans, etc., but Pike was and is the key to it all.

Thanks Coach. Really and truly. Thank you.
Thank you for saving Rutgers Basketball, HC Steve Pikiell! Stay at Rutgers, win some championships and our biggest problem will be where to place your statue!

I go back as far as the 1966-7 Lloyd - Valvano NIT team, my freshman year, in the days when RU football was a jacket-and-tie social event. That season - RU's first ever post-season tournament - Rutgers basketball became my favorite sport and remained so for a few decades before the passion died. Now, since the arrival of Coach Pike on the Banks, that passion is back and RU bball is once again my favorite sport.

When i first met Steve four years ago I was so impressed immediately and he has not disappointed me in any such way. He is so positive and he had a vision which he has continued to follow. I have watched 19 practices this past season and every second of every practice is so well planned. Every coach and every player is so involved and so upbeat for every minute of every practice. I have never seen a coach run a practice where everything is so well planned out. We are SO LUCKY to have Steve as our coach. The future looks very bright.

I’ve always had the feeling that Pike wants to Rutgers Calhoun (without the probation stuff of course) and will succeed.

Took RU from an afterthought to national prominence in 4 years, with a 5th place finish in the mighty B1G, and now we’re a preseason Top 20 team that attracts big time recruits.

And man, that 18-1 record at the RAC was like a dream.

Just so grateful for the pride and excitement he has brought back to our program and to the greater Rutgers Nation.

Same. I really don't see him leaving like some seemed scared of if he had success. He's in the B1G in the biggest media market with a great talent base to recruit from. Now that he is bringing Rutgers on the national stage, no reason to leave

I‘m not at all concerned about losing Steve to another program. He’s been waiting a long time for this opportunity and he has a great relationship with his AD.

I don’t know how he’s won so fast but recruiting studs in 2020 and 2021 were all he had to do to win me over.

Yes, you got to love him. He knew the type of players he wanted in his system and found them. Now, he is also able to find some true stars. This is basketball country, again.
