pretty much this. it’s already been established he doesn’t care about offense. zero continuity . zero off ball movement , zero back screening even against pressure . we dont even run zoom or get action which pretty kick every team in college and pros do. So easy to guard, especially with zero guys who can break you don’t off the dribble. not only do his concepts suck, but his philosophy sucks as we take way more midrange twos than probably any team i’ve seen. just ****** all around

As troubling is his defense. It creates open looms for the opposition. He’s not cut out for this anymore.
Brandin Knight runs this god-awful so-called offense. He should’ve been gone five years ago.
And he supposedly does the lineups which our rotation are even worse

I think both of those coaches would at least make three point shooting a priority and the team would be better off for it.
3 pt shooting LOL. Again, doesn’t have the players for it. .Zrno seems ok from deep, and sometimes Grant. That’s not enough to exploit a defense with our dollar store guards. Who else ? Davis and Mark LOL ? Dortch ?
What makes you think our players who can’t hit midrange shots can make threes ?
If in 2025 you still do not understand the importance of taking 3's over midrange 2's then I dont know what to tell you. Modern basketball has passed you by. You do not fully grasp the importance of points per possession or even basic modern offensive spacing
Our use of transfer portal as well as recruiting under Pike has been abysmal. The list of fails is a mile long. Spencer was probably only transfer win and then he immediately bolted and dissed our program. We desperately need new leadership. We are fielding guys who are basically all low to mid major.

Davis, Zrno, Buchanan, and Grant are all at or above 40% from 3. Do I think any of them are amazing shooters? No, but they're good enough so far this season that I think they should attempt more. I don't know, maybe the coaching staff is already trying to get them open shots and I'm just not seeing it. It seems to me like they just pass the ball around with the hope of finding someone who is open, rather than actually trying to make it happen.
Agree completely, but the offense can be run better. We don't make defenses work very much. It's a lot of outside the arc action then make a play.
That is another one of Pikell's flaws he is too loyal to a fault and that goes with coaches!!
