Is Rutgers still going after at least one of the twins from NY?

It seems like at this point they may split up.

One committed to Pitt for 2019, the other will prep and pick Pitt for 2020.....Pitt convinced them to split for scholarship distribution.

@dpwhite you can have 4 coaches on the road. The head coach + 3 assistant coaches. The 3 coaches rule changed several years ago.

If the staff doesn't have four coaches available to go out they can send a support staffer as long as he has taken the NCAA recruiting rules exam and passed it.

Ncaa rules exam???

Yes.

Before a coach can go off campus to recruit, there is an exam they must take. A few years ago I was told that they had to get at least 75 percent of the answers correct. in order to "pass". I don't know if what constitute a passing grade has changed or not over the years.

Most programs have one or two "non-recruiting" staff members (DOBO, special assistant to the head coach, player development guy etc) take the exam so that they are compliant in case something pops up (an assistant gets hired by another school, family obligation or family emergency etc) during travel team season.
