I heard someone say about the MSU game that the program reminded them of the early MSU days under Izzo. I agree.

At the moment, we are lacking the upper echelon talent that elite programs have, but it's clear that Pike has a standard that is built around team play, effort, and toughness. Those traits will garner wins, which will lead to better recruits.

Our hoops program is in the best shape it's been in since I've been an alum.

I knew Pike was the real deal when he said he used to drive down the NJ TurnPIKE
& sigh that RUTGERS was the job he wanted,,,some day...

I knew HE was going to be the guy to BUILD this program..
