Depends on the players imo as different players respond better to different styles. I do not believe there is anything Pike could be doing after the season started that would give us more than say, two more wins in expectation.
Pike yes a good head coach definitely

Shelby thinks more than 2. This is better than a .500 roster. It’s a team that would be flirting with the bubble rather than a team long-eliminated.

I swear, on messages boards, there are people who would rather be the first to call for a coach’s head than have th team win games. The loudest people on here are the people who’ve been calling for Pikes to be fired since Greg got hired.
You could mostly likely also add and give nothing to the programs to the above…

I’m not in the predictions game so I don’t know lol.

But Pikes success has been with under the radar guys so maybe that’s the formula for him.

Either way…he’s here until he says he doesn’t want to be. So get used to it.
There is no chance that is going to happen. The fanbase has already started turning on him and in a year he is going to have a boss that didn't hire him, a fanbase looking for a change and an AD looking to make an impact.

It's not crazy to see a firing in March 2026 if we do not go dancing.

It is crazy. The university will not eat more than a year or two of his salary, or Schiano’s.

Mediocrity is the goal, and both coaches deliver it.

Stop Mag was a role player and not Michael Jordan! How does the all powerful Mag look at his new school? He was a nice role player but that’s it. We didn’t make the tournament because pike wouldn’t make the necessary changes needed in season and blew games late in the season.
STOP

You’re incorrect. And no one suggesting he was some kind of legend. Do you even watch the team?

Just because you keep repeating the same point again doesn't make it true.

Brandon Knight is responsible for player rotations. He did a lousy job today. We also played without an urgency in the second half. Basically this team is more talented than Iowa but we were out coached and out hustled. Bad sign for the rest of the season.
We now know why no one wanted Knight as a head coach.
