Picture quality with ESPN 3? Question

I have Watch ESPN on my laptop with an HDMI cord connected to the tv. The picture quality for our games most of the time is very poor.
Very blurry. Every once in a while it will clear up but then go back to being blurry.

Any ideas what's going on there?

It's all based on your internet speed. What type of Internet do you have?

If you can run ethernet to your laptop that may help some

A lot depends on your internet speed and your CPU power. It also has a mind of its own. I have 200mbps downstream and I still rarely hit the highest quality on watchespn. Netflix and hbogo have no issues with holding highest quality.
