First up are pics from Jun 17
The Dawgzillatron still had a couple paint spots to be finished as can be seen in these photos. You can see the Broken G on the Seal Building sign.

Work being down on the East side, repainting..touchup work. They began at the North end

Some Photos of the 100 level, just to give people how easy of an idea it will be in the near future to convert the 100 and 200 levels to club/suites.
The only thing that needs to be removed is this 2" plywood wall

and these free-standing concrete stands that are concrete block but not connected up to the top of the stadium.

This photo shows the distance between the fenct and the base of the jumbotron, Doing a rough measure it came to 40-45'.

Pic of the brick base along the bottom.

Pic of the LT scoreboard

Here are the newest photos from July 8
The G is fixed, the Paint is finished, all that is left to be down is remove the foundation they built for the equipment to work on.
Also, some lines and stakes have been put in place for landscaping and brick work. Going to be very Nice.
Oh, also they removed the last magnolia tree from inbetween the walkways since the june 17 pics.

First off, the first thing I noticed is the FENCE is GONE!!!
This photo also shows the 40-45' distance I referenced before.

and the 25' in length of the base of the scoreboard legs.

You can see the only part of the walkway that extends in front of the scoreboard is the stairs on the far left side
Notice..the missing magnolia tree also.
The Red Dot at the base will be referenced later..

I could honestly say I had never seen this before they began construction on the screen.

View from right/left of the entrance ramps and below the scoreboard. Looking straight up at it is an amazing sight.

The painting/touchup crew has now made it all the way to the South end of the east stands.

View of some of the removal work of the work foundation "road" they built

The last 3 shows some of the markings that have been sketched and some of the markers placed into the dirt for placement points.
I have these are for a brick and landscaping. looks to be a semi-circle from one scoreboard support to the other, with an entrance path in the middle.
the markers are closest to the scoreboard, while the paint points in the dirt are about 6' further out in the same arch design. Look forward to see what they do to finish it. Off.
Evidently, per Wardlaw they are going to add some of sort of connection across the endzone from the west stands to the the east stands to tie it all together.

Damn! It is it really that much off center from the goal post? Or is it just an optical illusion?

Kind of looks like a Mercedes parked under one of those tin carports by a double-wide trailer house.

State moved the field closer to the East stands in order to give the visitors less sideline space and to give State more on the west side. The original field was centered but Jackie moved it.

I'd always just assumed we moved it for the TV Camera Booms that were always behind the bench. Leave it to the Kang to have a method...

Being that far off-center vs. the Seal and now jumbotron, I wonder if it really screws up FG kickers?
