For each of the last 3 decades The Phantoms have either began or ended them by going back to back. 01-02, 09-10, 10-11, 21-22. Has anyone else's favorite Virginia high school football team matched this feat or better? If so let's recognize them. We have to acknowledge the standards of excellence set by the 1970's T.C. Williams Titans and Hampton Crabbers teams that used to battle back in the day.

Not quite the same but Salem has played in the championship just about every 10 yrs. Dating back to 1986 when they lost to Hampton 14-0. They won in 96 (3 peat 98-00) and just missed 06 (won 04 and 05). Won again in 16 in the middle of a 3 peat.
