You were afraid he would come in and steal money from Lacrosse. Guess what, this isn't the Big East any longer and we're not making $7 mil. a year, so your fears were unfounded.
Due respect, I don't think he was arguing whether the "fears" were well-founded. I think he was rebutting the handful of people who said they would happily sacrifice all the other sports to bring back Greg and give him full control of the program.
Football success aside, Schiano v1.0 had a negative impact on other sports at Rutgers. Yes, we have more money now. But here's the thing - and there's no getting around it - Rutgers athletics as a whole is still losing tens of millions of dollars a year. So everything is vulnerable.
