Is anyone else streaming this from ESPN +? Not sure if it’s just my hardware but the quality is 11AM Tulane vs MSU 2004 football game, quality. Like NES graphics. It’s probably a problem with the Noxapater server.

They'd mentioned in last weeks tournament that the PGA would have "gavel to gavel" coverage, but I could never find it. I suppose they must've meant ESPN+. I'll just stick with regular coverage this afternoon on ESPN.

His performance in all previous majors has been abysmal. He seems to become more of a head case each week too. I want to see him do well cause it’s good TV, but I don’t think he makes the cut.

Could be. He's -3, just 2 back. Putting like a mad man today. Then, when television coverage starts he puts in a bunker on a long Par 3.

There are some pretty low scores all around for a major.

So has Tiger, but everyone loves him. I look at it as doing whatever is necessary to win. It’s his competitive edge. DJ uses cocaine, Reed uses a loose interpretation of the rules. To each their own. He’s just trying to feed his growing family.

Yeah, I guess that's true, thinking back on the "loose impediment" boulder a dozen or so fans moved out of Tiger's way some years ago. I don't "love" Tiger - he seems to be a bit of a jerk (but not to Reed's standard) - but it sure is fun to watch him play, and I find myself pulling for him every time.

There are heels that you just love to hate, and then there are 100% douchebags. Reed has always been the latter for me

I wasn’t much of a Koepka fan at first, but his anti-Bryson stuff has been pretty comical lately, so I can’t even dislike him anymore. I’m not sure who to root against these days

DeChambeau broke his driver a few minutes ago, but will get to replace it. After hitting one of those 200 mph ball speed drives, he leaned over to pick up his tee, using his driver as a prop like we all do, and the splintered and the head fell off. He gets to replace the shaft since the breakage wasn't in frustration.

I've had my driver, a Taylor Made R9 (so several years old), and have yet to break the shaft. Might have something to do with lower swing speed. I probably should get a new one. The ads say the new ones hit it much farther.

I’ll watch some of it, but I’ve always had a hard time caring about the PGA Championship. Just feels less important than the other majors. If it were a wrestling belt, it would be the WWF European title or the WCW International Heavyweight championship. I mean, yeah, you’d rather be the champion than not but...

I don’t know how Day is doing it, but he’s playing some of the worst golf of anyone today, yet is -3 after 8. He’s spraying it all over the place off the tee, and then knocking shots through the trees to within 5 feet of the cup. Unbelievable

Everyone is spraying it around this afternoon. The wind plus the greens are like putting on glass.

He was tied for the lead until he made his first bogey of the tournament. And that was after some pretty generous relief from a wild tee shot.

Most of them are spraying the ball. The wind's not really that bad, but the fairways are pretty narrow.
