Isn't he the top two guard? Where is Duke, Kansas, NC and UConn? I mean, UL, Wash and USC? Strange we are the only top program. We are recruiting so many top players at every position there is no way of getting a handle on who our top guys are.
That is just in August. The list is much longer than that.

UK isn't landing this kid or Dybantsa. Both recruitments feel like the Marvin Bagley recruitments, where UK was always mentioned but never really had a shot.
Plus, I just don't think Pope's had enough time yet to show what he can do on an elite level. I don't see players of this quality coming to UK in Pope's first few years.

Washington & USC 2 nothing basketball programs. Unless they've got tons of NIL money to offer I don't understand his interest in these 2 schools. And whatever happened to Kansas the school that a lot of people thought was the leader for Peterson

Seriously, if he wants them, how much time does it take to show interest? You are predicting it will take years before he can get quality recruits? Why?

For starters, he hasn't produced any NBA guys yet. Elite recruits will probably want to see what he does system-wise and how he maximizes his players' talents.
Nope. We ain't. We ain't landing anyone of this caliber anymore. For the exact same reason I've been repeating on this site over and over an over.
Right now, I have more evidence that I am right (we haven't landed anyone of that caliber) than you do. But this is par for the course on this idiotic site.
He's most likely to go to one of the schools he's visiting. The best program we're competing against is our little brother. Our ugly little brother. He's not from Louisville so if the money is close he'll pick Kentucky. He will probably take the biggest offer if it's way more than Kentucky's offer. That's just the way things are now.
How are your Hogs looking for Peterson? Maybe you can start a thread on your own board dumbass.
I just don't see UK paying these guys the $2+ million they'll be asking. I hope I'm wrong. I love both of these guys. It might be worth it for Pope to use some of his connections to offer these guys, or even exceed, what they'll be commanding.

It's interesting to me that Peterson wants to play point guard. I wonder if Calipari will try to sell him on coming to Arkansas and running the offense like Tyreke Evans did at Memphis.
It would be a gamble for Peterson to come to Kentucky because he is converting to full time PG and has not had a chance to see Pope's system perform on the floor in Lexington. If he reclasses, would he clash with Lamont Butler? I am not getting the feeling he will come to Kentucky but it would be a great way to fill out the roster.
I agree, to me this a bit of a gamble. Great 2g, what about pg? I'm really surprised Arkansas is not the favorite since Cal has no problem putting individual players wants above team goals.
