A visiting recruit parked by us. After the game, he mentioned that he met with the UCF Defensive Coordinator. Said Frost probably leaving and the Defensive Coordinator will be interim head coach. So, the recruit was not planning on considering UCF even though he really liked the game tonight.

Has anyone heard anything or know if there is any validity to these type of comments about Frost leaving, yet?

Why would the defensive coordinator tell a recruit that Frost is leaving? Makes no sense.

The best part of that rumor is that the DC would stay behind. After giving up 600 yards of total offense to the qb yesterday, Frost will need to beef up that side of the ball.

Why would they lie? It gives them a chance to gage the recruits interest in the program and if’s based soley on Scott being at UCF they won’t waste their time continuing to recruit them.

It is obvious he isn't staying at UCF. If he was staying at UCF he would have just said he wasn't going anywhere, period. The only question is where.
Well, lets see...UF has been hard after Kelly. Rumors that Frost is already N. Florida just now saying they want to meet with Frost. They telling recruits at UCF he already gone. 2+2....=N

Seems like a good bet, but if he ended up in Gatorland I wouldn't be surprised either.

Honesty??? Who's our D coord going to be?
I always think that's a big deal when you bring up a coach from a lower level. Will the staff that helped him be successful come with him? Or will the best coach or two of his staff stay behind and get promotions? That's one reason why some of these guys fail. Think about how well Tim Miles did with and then without Craig Smith. If there is an assistant that Frost says he has to have, NU needs to make sure that guy comes to Lincoln with him.

He'll bring Chinander with him. 35th in scoring defense this year.

I'm starting to agree that looks like it would be best for us. I'd rather have Frost keep most of his offensive staff than bring his DC Chinander if given the choice. UCF's defense has played pretty well at times but has also played pretty poorly at times and that concerns me.
