I think what's gratifying about it is this: Knight (who had lots of options) is on the upward slope of his career, and wouldn't come to RU unless he was sure Pikiell could build a winner. Same goes for Hobbs, and even thought he got a promotion and a pay raise, he wouldn't have left a perennial power unless he was sure we could make it. Tremendous day.
I'm holding out until I see Wikipedia confirmation.

At this moment, the Wiki article is inaccurate. It may in fact be a done deal, but Knight has not yet been officially introduced as the AHC, as the article states.

Anyone know the standard length for asst coach contracts in BB? Is it the same as football, which is 2 years?
I just tried to imagine what it is going to be like watching Selection Sunday to see who and where RU is playing. Pretty soon, we all will have more than a passing interest in the Big Dance.

Same thing I said. He had been on campus just was the contract formalities. Great staff let's hope they can turn this around
Being a manager in the past at Rutgers most coaches were on year to year contracts. Don't know if that's changed with Pikiell
Yeah. We're obviously still going to need some patience. But it really does feel different this time, like we've finally gotten out of our own way in a big way.
This is the kind of 'build' we've always known we needed but would never commit to executing at an institutional level. Very wise and confidence inspiring start for coach Pikiell in aiming high and executing to produce an A-team level staff.
We're gonna get much better in BB. It's literally only a matter of time.

Don't despair, Karl Hobbs doesn't seem to even have a Twitter page.
Well, Wikipedia says he was officially introduced today, so apparently all the paperwork has been taken care of. Hobbs, Knight and Young, with Shoes in some capacity. OK, we can live with that, a staff full of future HC's, Now they need a few more pieces to flesh out the roster. NBA playoffs have not yet started and am eagerly looking forward to October on BTN.

Welcome aboard Mr. Knight! I was cautiously optimistic about the Pikiell hire. I didn't doubt that he would be able to coach, but I was worried about his ability to recruit at this level. He was starting in such a hole, I didn't know if he would be able to dig us out.
I can not believe the coaching staff he has put together. We have big time recruiters and coaches that should be able to teach the game and develop the talent that comes in. Things are finally looking up for RU Hoops!
