was 56,190 people. A few gems include 55k for Abilene Christian and 58k for the egg bowl.

Ok, I get that these numbers are allegedly based on tickets sold rather than butts in seats, but there is zero chance that I buy even that. 56,190 would imply that the only seats that went unsold this year were a couple thousand visitors’ tickets along with a couple thousand upper deckers.

Anyone else wondering what we’re doing to completely skew these figures?

It sucks that these figures are basically worthless today. I understand the reason, but it’s valuable information.

For one thing, they include every student seat as sold. I don't know how many seats that is- it doesn't make as big a difference as it does in basketball, for sure- but it's something.

The Abilene game was the most sparsely attended game in the last 10 years of MSU football. I don’t care what those numbers say....it was bad.

Albeline would have been bad any year. It was below 40 and misty rain until almost kick off for a night game. If I hadn’t had club seats I would have never taken my family to that game. We sat outside for the first half and it was miserable.
