Period 1:
With Josh Barr still on the mend, Connor makes his debut in the starting line-up, stepping in to carry the water at 197. Put the babies to bed & grab your beer. The PSU college wrestling season is here! Are you ready to be entertained? Here we go. Parker drops to a leg immediately, but Connor fights him off. Parker shoots a double, but Connor blocks him off. Head taps & hand fighting with some tying up. Parker shoots, but can't get there. Tying up & hand fighting near the center. Head taps & slaps now, then back to tying up. More of the same. Both jockeying for position. Connor drops to a leg, elevates it & trips Parker to the mat for the TD, 3-0. Out of bounds, 48-sec left. Parker gets to his feet & Connor lets him go, 3-1. Tying up & hand fighting again, 30-sec left. Connor pushes forward a little. Parker works back to center & the period ends. 3-1 Connor
Period 2:
Parker takes down & immediately gets to his feet, then picks up the escape, 3-2. Circling & tying up. Parker reaches. Connor shoots, then re-attacks & gets another TD, 6-2. Connor is riding heavy on top. Parker works to his feet, but Connor takes him out of bounds, 1-min left. Parker is still down. Parker works to a quadpod. Connor hangs heavy over the top. Parker gets the escape, 6-3. Circling & tying up again with some head slapping. Connor shoots, but can't get there. Parker presses forward. Connor counters & gets a leg on the edge. Parker is trying to get out & Connor gets the TD, 9-3. There's a Mark Hall sighting! 9-3 Connor.
Parker is challenging the last TD. Takedown confirmed. Score stays 9-3 Connor.
Period 3:
Connor takes neutral. Circling & hand fighting. Parker pushes forward a little. Parker shoots & they go out of bounds. Warning on Connor for something. Back to neutral. Tying up & hand fighting. Parker presses forward a little. Connor reaches for a leg, but can't get there. Parker tries an underhook, but Connor fights him off. More tying up & hand fighting. Parker comes forward again. Some coach is yelling for Connor to get another TD! Connor reaches, but can't get there. I think it's Cody yelling for another TD. Connor shoots & gets a leg, then finishes the TD, 12-3 right before time expires!!!

After one of the longest off seasons ever, this is so nice to finally see a Penn State dual again.
They need to find a way to reduce the time it takes for reviews.
Honestly they need a lawyer to explain the concept of the standard of review. If the call is presumptively valid, and you can’t figure it out in a minute it’s upheld.
