Barr's pace is pretty amazing for a younger guy........but as the announcers noted, he has some talented guy to work with.

Would be surprised if he AA’d at Penn state in his career. Doesn’t have it

133: #5 Braeden Davis vs. #16 Jacob Van Dee (JVD)

Per 1
Davis in right off the whistle for a low single, JVD with a whizzer to fight it off, though Davis still has the leg, and JVD ends up with the TD and gets swipes and has Davis trouble. It's 3 + 4 for 0-7. Davis to his stomach, and he's out, 1-7. Davis sort of shoots, nothing. JVD working underhooks, and a stalemate with 1:00 left. Davis shoots a double and gets the TD, 4-7. JVD to his feet, and returned. Davis tried to pull him over, nothing. JVD works in and turns and gets the reversal, 4-9. Davis out just before the buzzer, 5-9. End RT @ 0:09 for JVD

Per 2
Davis takes bottom. He sits out, JVD drives into him, then Davis out for the esc, 6-9. Davis shoots, but nothing. Stalemate with 0:31 left. Davis shoots, nothing. En.d RT @ 0:44 for JVB

Per 3
JVB takes bottom. Davis passively rides and lets him go, 6-10. RT not a factor (0:34 for JVD). Davis tries a body throw and JVD falls on top of him for the TD, 6-13. Davis works to his feet and is out, 7-13. Davis shoots, nothing. 30 sec left. Davis shoots but JVD works underhooks for good D. End. RT ended up at 1:00 for JVD, so it's a 7-14 DEC for JVD

141: #3 Beau Bartlett vol #6 Brock Hardy (BH)

Per 1
Lots of ear-to-ear to start. Beau in on a head inside single, elevates, and trips BH down for the TD, 3-0. OOB with 1:37 left. BH to his feet, and Beau cuts him, but BH works right in and gets a reversal, 3-2. Stoppage for something ??, with 1:21 left. BH may have gotten kicked in the head, so the trainer is checking him. On replay, it looks as though when Beau flipped over he kicked him, and BH signaled for a stoppage. On the restart, Beau with a quick reversal, 5-2. Then BH with a quick esc, 5-3. Stalemate with 0:25 left. BH reaches, nothing. End. RT @ 0:20 for Bartlett

Per 2
Beau takes bottom. He works up, and is out in 5 sec, 6-3. Stalemate with 1:45 left. Beau shoots, but BH kicks out. Stall warning on Beau (not sure I agree with that). 30 sec left. Beau in on a single, BH sprawls, END. RT @ 0:15 for Beau

Per 3
BH takes bottom. He works up, and Beau cuts him, 6-4. RT is not a factor 0:20 for Beau. BH with a shot, and spins behind for the TD, 6-7. BH throws in a boot. Beau working up, and they are OOB with 1:02 left. Beau works up, but BH throws in double boots and then flattens Beau. Beau works up again , tries a roll, but BH stays with him, but Beau hits reversal, 8-7. End

They are going to video to check where RT was. The call is confirmed.

Good effort from SVN, but he did not look comfortable at all on bottom?
