Just win Saturday. Double Carr. Hope Robbins does not play. No excuse for Myles.

If Minnesota loses tonight they go to 0-10 on the road and 13-13 overall, their NCAA hopes are over with barring some bizarre turnaround where they reach the Big 10 finals

How did Minnesota win against Iowa, OSU and UM at home? Minnesota is playing with no confidence, guess 0-10 on the road is a giant mental block, and it bled into their home games 2-3 last 5 eventually, losing 10 of their last 13 games.

Any idea if Robbins is going to play Saturday? What's the injury he's dealing with?

it's like looking in a mirror. Rutgers and Minnesota are both horror shows.

I figured the Gophers wouldn't take their last few games seriously, but jeez. If we can't beat them who have literally quit, then we don't deserve to go to the Dance.

Energy, energy, energy on Saturday.

(I have to keep reminding myself I'm rooting for PSU.)

exactly, wounded animal, you beat early, obviously there will be soul searching for Minnesota so watch the bounceback but the key is an early start for RU
12 pm, 11 am central is early . It doesn’t get earlier than that. We will see how key it is

Fast start will be key. Punch them in the face early and they'll be wanting to get to the offseason as painlessly as possible.

We have to win because we want it and we are ready for it. Not cause the other guys are down and out. That kind of thinking gets us in trouble.
Team needs to pretend minny blew psu away and all players healthy and hot.

There was no excuse for us to lose in the manner we did Monday night, but we did. At this point, can you really see this team punching anyone in the face or stepping on their necks? If Robbins plays, that is a much different team. For those who think Saturday's game is better than a 50/50 proposition for us coming out with a W, I not sure what would be the basis for such confidence.

i didn't realize there was a player w/ that name at first, I thought you were making a C- attempt at making fun of Pitino
Lol I was not, but will 1000% be referring to him as “Butt Rick”moving forward.

If we come out and play with intensity, we win. If we play like we can't wait for the season to end, which was what it looked like Monday, we lose

What if we come out with intensity but also go 1-15 from three? Will we win? What if we come out flat but go 10-15 from three?
The latter is essentially what happened the 1st time we played Minnesota. Outhustled badly, defense only came up with stops in the first few minutes and the last few minutes, but we actually shot like a team of high major basketball players, both from 3 and from the line.
