Thank you to former ru coach Danny Hurley . That family has done a lot for rutgersUConn about to do us a big solid and push SHU to basically elimination unless they make the BE Champ Game.
We have jump on them early
12 pm, 11 am central is early . It doesn’t get earlier than that. We will see how key it isexactly, wounded animal, you beat early, obviously there will be soul searching for Minnesota so watch the bounceback but the key is an early start for RU
Fast start will be key. Punch them in the face early and they'll be wanting to get to the offseason as painlessly as possible.exactly, wounded animal, you beat early, obviously there will be soul searching for Minnesota so watch the bounceback but the key is an early start for RU
Buttrick just threw down the towel and the rest of the linen closet along with it.Minny has not thrown in the towel yet
i didn't realize there was a player w/ that name at first, I thought you were making a C- attempt at making fun of PitinoButtrick just threw down the towel and the rest of the linen closet along with it.
I give extra credit for wanton crudeness and lack of nuance, definitely a students' teacherThat is some serious grade inflation.
Lol I was not, but will 1000% be referring to him as “Butt Rick”moving forward.i didn't realize there was a player w/ that name at first, I thought you were making a C- attempt at making fun of Pitino
So you are saying they are due?Minnesota has shot over 40%, once in the last now 11 games since the Michigan win at home
If we come out and play with intensity, we win. If we play like we can't wait for the season to end, which was what it looked like Monday, we loseThere was no excuse for us to lose in the manner we did Monday night but we did. At this point, can you really see this team punching anyone in the face or stepping on their necks? If Robbins plays that is a much different team. If anyone thinks the game on Saturday is anything better than a 50/50 proposition for us coming out with a W, I not sure what would the basis for such overconfidence.

The latter is essentially what happened the 1st time we played Minnesota. Outhustled badly, defense only came up with stops in the first few minutes and the last few minutes, but we actually shot like a team of high major basketball players, both from 3 and from the line. What if we come out with intensity but also go 1-15 from three? Will we win? What if we come out flat but go 10-15 from three?
