What was that dude's problem?

Did I see correctly that Franklin sat him after his personal foul? (Refs missed the first one.)

Franklin makes men out of boys, from what I know. I hope that was the case (that he sat him). Last year, after a close loss to a good team (IIRC), several Penn State players ran for the locker room as soon as the clock hit zero. Franklin sprinted into the tunnel to yank a few players by their shoulder pads back onto the field to go congratulate the other team's players. I like that.

I like Franklin. He’s a bit weird but has good values in my opinion. Penn State recruits at an extremely high level and sometimes you get a few punks that are risks.

This. I think he is not being well served by some of his assistants, because with that talent they need to be beating every B1G not named Tosu.

I had the opportunity to listen to Franklin at a coaching clinic last year. Best coach I’ve ever heard. I have a lot of respect for him.

This is to a sense what Urban Meyer was hinting at while he was talking about "looking at whats under the hood"

He may have changed, as I know nothing about what has happened at PSU. But I do know that I have a surgeon friend who graduated from Vandy and is what you would call a donor of substance. She was ecstatic when Franklin left because of the sleazy things he was doing.

Honestly, this is about 95% of college coaches. **** is cutthroat and if you want to be good, you've got to play the game. Even the guys that we perceive as being the best character guys do some really shady ****.

I’m not excusing #69, but every o-line has a cheap shot artist or two. That seemed like a standard offense line chickenshit dirty play to me.
