Why do we have Hannah bringing the ball up? Playing right into what PSU wants
Outside of Chit Chat we don't have any guards with good handles right now.

Penn St has the the 2 best perimeter players on the court. 19 and 23 are outstanding.

Much higher ceiling than HS. HS being 4-11 on FTs is 9U level stuff.
I've said this before. Iowa is not a bad free throw shooting team. They are a good free throw shooting team with 2 really horrible free throw shooters on it. Today was a typical line:
Hannah/Hayes 5-13
Everyone else 11-11

Great game from Deal. You can see the potential. Her ceiling is super high.
Working her way to more minutes. Definitely looks more comfortable out there. I’d love to see her swapping the minutes McCabe got today by the end of the season. Just a much more versatile player. Going to need that against the better teams.
Yeah. 4-5 from the field. 3-3 from the line. 11 rebounds. 3 assists. 1 steal. It doesn't get much better than that. The girl plays hard and smart.
Hannah does a lot of good things, particularly on the defensive end where her height is an asset, but her free throw shooting has regressed from what was already below average and teams are going to take advantage of that on the defensive end as we get deeper into the season.
At the least in close 4th quarter games you can't play someone who can't hit a FT. Hope she gets it together soon.
