Penalties really hurt us the first half of the season last year(not all of which was completely our fault, in my opinion), but we improved a lot in that area as the season went along. I don't expect it to be a major problem this year.

Penalties are something that can be fixed right away if you put enough emphasis on it. There's really no excuse for what we saw last year.

There are good penalties and bad penalties. Ours seemed mostly bad. They can and should improve this season.
I am more concerned with our kicking game or lack thereof. We are terrible and have the talent to be good. This is one area Frost is sadly lacking in. We don't even really have a kicking game coach., yet two linebacker coaches. I don't get it.
