Jordan didn't win a title until he was .....27...Lebron didn't win a title until he was.....27...said transcendent player is 26 and has made it about as far as Jordan did at the same age. He is an absolutely dominant player who has been placed in the most embarrassing and incompetent situation, hence the reason he wants out of that dumpster fire. Again...a team can have 15 good players and not sniff the playoffs because good players will always get dominated by great players. It was a decent haul but the reality is they would be much better off keeping their MVP candidate and surrounding him with actually good players and coaches. The guy they brought in last year to be his robin is like the warriors 8th best player.

Lol....Davis hardly ever led his teams to the playoffs, let alone worrying about sniffing a title.

We shall see what a dumpster fire they are now. I'll go on record saying they visit the playoffs just as often or more without him.

The NBA should do a big nickname re-shuffle, with Jazz going back to New Orleans and Utah picking something new. Then Memphis and Sacramento need to swap names, because Memphis really should be The Kings.
There are definitely no Grizzlies in Memphis (except in zoos) and no jazz in Utah (that is any good). Of course, there are also no lakers in LA (Great Lakes ships), but at least it is alliterative.

Lakers keep Kuzma. The rest were expendable. Lakers for the win! After they sign Kemba Walker or Kyrie, along with some cheap veterans, back to the finals in 2020!!

Doesn't have 3-4 years left? What the heck does that mean? Lebron will still be a great player for at least another 3 or 4 years and he's versatile enough he can be a very good player well into his 40's. I even think we'll see a resurgence in his defensive play when he realizes he's just as valuable on that end.
They might be improved but still not a contender IMO. They have two stars who have trouble staying healthy lately. If they add another max contract they will have a real problem with depth. On paper they will look great and if they could play for the championship without going through an 82 game schedule then they'd have a shot.

The big three will have to play big minutes and carry the rest of the roster most likely. If they make the playoffs the mileage will probably show.

Although it's the Lakers with LeBron so they will probably get a lot of help.
Put Kemba with these two, watch out.

great trade for the lakers. They are getting the I think is going to be the best player in the league over the next 5-10 seasons. Him, Kawhi, or Giannis. Lonzo Ball? He literally shoots FT worse than shaq. Brandon Ingram's claim to fame is that he is skinny like KD so maybe he'll be good too? He is also dealing with blood clots and thoracic outlet syndrome. They don't need kemba or kyrie.... just get some shooters and defenders.

It is like Kareem and Magic.. except this time the big man is the young buck and the point forward is the grizzled vet.
