Rachel and Jackson played like they wanted to win today, can't say that about the rest of the team. Disappointed in Horne, Igbanu, and Jones today. No idea why Korita plays, but whatever... it's a win for TU! :flags:

Rachal is going to be the AAC PotW
Rachal is a baller and Jackson has really hustled his *** off . I don’t know why Martins shooting touch has disappeared around the basket , but he needs to average at least 12 pts every game. Ibanu better get in some some extra gym practice and work on his touch.

He needs to work on his dunks. He wouldn’t miss so many gimmes if he just put the ball directly in the basket...

If he has the standing vertical to do so, I haven't seen him explode up to the basket. Almost as if he is actively trying to avoid contact. I'll say it again, he might be thinking about what he is going to do instead of just playing ball. I don't think I ever saw a time he DIDN'T do a pump fake first in today's game.

He acts like he is triple teamed even when he has one guy and an open lane to the basket if he moves quick.

He does. I have seen him show it. Seems like he just doesn't have the confidence to do it. Especially in traffic. He got one a game or two and I figured we'd start seeing more of it. But he still doesn't. His footwork is so good and he can usually get people out of position, maybe it's just a matter of him being comfortable keeping the pivot and getting the under or out move off.

He like any athlete is not perfect at any one aspect of his game. He either doesn't have the ability, comfort, confidence, or some combination of the above to devine where he fails in real time.

If he did that either he skips the fakes and goes straight up early, or passes early with more regularity. I don't see him doing either very much. Instead he plays with his footwork, fakes, etc. and during the last second failure to get to the hoop, makes a bad shot, or passes if he can manage to get one off.

It's too bad he didn't use the off season before his senior year to work on that. It's the difference between a really good basketball and a great basketball player.
