Did I miss it, or did we not even mention that today is the anniversary of a Day that will Live in Infamy, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. 80 years ago today.

Along with 9/11, it was most certainly the worst day in American History and should never be forgotten.

Thank you for all the brave Americans who defended our country that day, and every day since then.

My father fought at Guadalcanal and Okinawa . My Uncle was shot down in Vietnam and was rescued.
This day should never be forgotten but sadly each year there is less coverage In the media.

Thank you for the reminder. My grandparents adopted eight orphans during the Depression. Four died during WWII. My mother's closest adopted brother died in his sleep at Pearl Harbor. My mother and grandmother spent most of every December crying
