A friend of mine was down at the Peach Jam and I asked him if any players stood out. He said one of the best performances was by Gus Yalden. Apparently went off for 30 points. I know some on the board weren’t enamored with him but he’s one I wish we didn’t lose.

There’s a good article on NJ.com about recruiting behind a paywall. Anybody remember the trick to bypass that?
Rutgers has been very active with insiders as they have a need in that area. They have offered at least one more ranked center from Maryland this past week. They have also been recruiting a ranked insider from Trenton who goes to school in Philly for 2024. This young man had attended Trenton Catholic which was being phased out by the Archdiocese creating a need for him to leave the school.
Bear in mind that Papa Kante will be making his college choice in the next few weeks and is headed to Africa to discuss the situation with his family. Michigan and Rutgers are allegedly his top two schools. Papa is in constant contact with RU commit Gavin G and with former Michigan player Dioubate who will be in the NBA this year.
