Cam Newton was described as a "unicorn" because he was bigger than anyone faster and faster than anyone bigger.
As if he knew all along, with Auburn trailing Alabama in Tuscaloosa 21-0 just after the start of the 2nd quarter in the 2010 Iron Bowl, CBS color commentator Gary Danielson stated that if Newton led the Tigers back to victory in that game that he should be given the Heisman Trophy immediately after the game.
After an Alabama field goal, Newton did, in fact, lead his Auburn team back from a 24-0 deficit to defeat the rival Tide, led by Head Coach Nick Saban, by a final score of 28-27.
Although not immediately after the game, but still in testament to Danielson's foresight, Newton won the Heisman Trophy at season's end.
