Beat a ranked Marvin Ridge. Went on the road and beat SW Guilford who was undefeated and was receiving ranking consideration before Parkland beat them.

Looks more like the same old guard getting the benefit of the doubt instead of taking a close look at these teams.

How do you have a 2 loss team ahead of Parkland unless they were higher classification losses.

I get what your saying, but fortunately in football you get a chance to prove how good you are, a poll or panel of people doesn't decide if you are good. Keep up the good play and over the course of the playoffs you will be rewarded much more so then any poll can give you.

I agree. But Parkland does have the chance to prove themselves (again for the non believers) against Dudley in a couple weeks.

I really hope this team goes far in the playoffs this year.

I’m rooting for Parkland to go deep in the playoffs... they’ll get their shot. Rankings are great, and I enjoy looking at them, but they mean nothing.

Best Dudley and then they’ll be ranked. Then they can test that ranking when the playoffs start.

They're beating Dudley and Tabor. I follow East Forsyth and a case could be made had we played them they easily could've been our toughest game this year.

Hate the way Forsyth Co does the nonconference set up. This could've been a huge game this year.

I knew the moment I posted this would happen. Anyhow glad for Parkland. I realize rankings mean nothing just posting for giggles.

You said they wasn’t ranked and they have been. I guess you were talking about another ranking so please be specific.

I thought I was looking at last weeks 3A rankings and I didn't see them in there. My mistake. I guess that's why I wear glasses now.

Knew I wasn't foolish. There were a couple rankings going around and Parkland just made those too now.

Just glad they're getting their just do and should be a tough out for whomever in the playoffs.

Mercy rule was in full affect by the 4Q - running clock!
Tabor wins 49-7! 12th time in a row over Parkland.

Parkland just over 90 yards of total offense with 80 yard run on one play.

Coach Brown’s defense was able to do what no other defense could come close to this year.

Parkland caught my eye with the win over Marvin Ridge but as the season has played out the MR game gets less impressive and will dwindle more the last few weeks of the season. Close wins over SWG and Smith that are not great but my eyebrow raised up again with the win over Dudley. Was hoping the Mustangs would roll into the playoffs undefeated.

That win over SWG wasn't close. They had two touchdowns that was called back. Parkland didn't come to play tonight and Tabor did. The team that I seen play against SWG and Dudley did not show up tonight. And for Tabor the team that I seen lose against East and Glenn wasn't the same either.

Tabor has been on a roll since they stopped switching QB's out every few plays. They looked atTabor's record and not the adjustments Tabor has made the last few weeks.

In the Smith game, QB wasn't going to play. In dress clothes first half and they were losing 17-0. Then he went and got dress at half and come in on the second series and the rest is history, they score over 30. He is the key to that offense, make no doubt.

They need 5 though. He made many tough plays for them this year.

Talk about a dramatic turn of events.
