Parking question

Haven't been to an on campus game in some time but will be Saturday. Parking options for someone without a pre-purchased parking pass?

You can go to HailState.com Friday morning at 8am and try to get paid parking. If that doesn't work out, get there early early Saturday, and you can pay with a card at Pace grass or sorority grass or behind McKee.

or there is private parking on east lee at the churches and behind the convenience store.

Depends on which way you are heading after the game. If the Jackson metro area, I recommend the vet school. Should be able to out-walk the log jam getting off campus and hit the road.

You can park on the shoulder of Hwy 12 for free (area approaching the frat houses) or you can park in the grass by the Sorority houses for $30. Pretty convenient area if you get there early enough.

You want to park on the side of campus you'll be heading home on. If you park on the "junction side" of campus, your options will be to either go east on blackjack or all the way out to the horse park. Ridiculous.

Last I saw there was no parking signs every 50 yards.

Just talk to one of the event staffers in the orange/yellow vests. $40 bucks cash and you can park where ever you want. Just keep the cash folded and below the window line of your vehicle when handing it to them. Well.....that was my experience last weekend. Didn't know it was an option or even what was happening until he told me to keep the money "low".

Parking garage at Marriott & grass lots in that area, some in front of old physical plant, & comfort suites parking lot - $40 since it’s an SEC game. $20 for nonconference

With a sell out and UT fans.... I'd get there before noon if you expect to find parking at Pace or Bully or Sorority.

I know you said you didn't want to, but I'd try the two light blue vet school lots and see if they are free. Then take the shuttle or just walk.

If not, try Research Park.

I hate paying for parking much more than I do walking. I have a couple secret spots but there is some walking involved.
