Hey Guys new to the forum and returning season ticket holder. My daughter (and her husband) are Clemson grads and we've been attending 2-3 games/year for the last 10yrs. Obviously that's been a fun ride but we want to get back to our roots. I did a search here and on the RU website and got somewhat educated on the different lots. We purchased 4 lower level seats (section 103) and $600 went into the scholarship fund. Do these count as an athletic gift or pts on the season parking chart? Some of the posts here comment that the parking spaces are small. We like to get to the stadium early and put up a tent, grill, throw cornhole. Is there a better area for that? Are the daily parking fee a better option? We wouldn't mind jumping on a shuttle. Appreciate any insight.

Looking forward to a fun season!

I’d call the ticket office and ask them to confirm how many priority points you have. The points will indicate which parking lots you can get into. You can contribute more to get in a specific lot if you want. We are in yellow, which I like. I also like green. You can Park privately at some houses by the golf course or Greek Orthodox church, which are close by. Personally, I don’t like to take shuttles but you can park at the RAC and shuttle over if you want. Parking spaces can be a little tight but you can still tailgate and play corn hole or other activities. It’s tougher to throw the football around these day, at least in yellow. Good luck and welcome back!

If you 've got the priority points (which I doubt since first year with tickets) or willing to pay extra for parking, the yellow, blue or purple are nice. I've found I prefer the RAC and shuttle to any of the others. Bonuses of the RAC; parking on asphalt (especially if it's raining), you can either be under cover (for rainy or hot, sunny days) or in open and plenty of room. Disadvantages are not as many people tailgating so lose some of the atmosphere.
Personally, I have no problem taking the shuttle.

The best suggestion above to do first is call the ticket office and see where you stand for priority points. Your ticket rep should be able to tell you that along with what you'd need to get into specific lots.

This is the current map and priority point requirements:

As for the best lot, you'll get lots of advice telling you many different viewpoints. Regardless, it's all good!
