Hobbs did not schedule this game!!!

The contract wasn't signed and he could have nixed it and he didn't so it's all on HIM.

I know it is not the only reason, but I think a big part of lowered donations and tickets is over this. My ticket rep said the Yankees game was always the first and biggest complaint his accounts brought up.

I think so too.

Believe me, Hobbs knows this

Yes, he could have nixed it. But getting on bad terms with a Conference partner plus a friend of RU athletics is probably worse long term than giving away a home game.

Highly doubt we see another Yankee Stadium home game.

Why would @ScarletKid2008 repost essentially the same information I posted above? Perhaps he has me on ignore.

Hahah no I don't . I started my post, walked away from the computer for a bit and came back to finish and post. By then there were several other posts made.

I haven't felt the need to utilize the ignore feature yet. I just keep scrolling through the non sense posts like white noise

Well I hope my posts are not nonsense, because I am dead serious about everything I post here! [cheers]

Where does the parking lot you got show up online?

My Account > View My Tickets
Click "Parking Full Season"
Scroll down to "Ticket Information"
In the last column ("Seats") will be "P:XX" where XX is the two letter abbreviation of the lot.

Click on the order history then highlight your parking and it will give an abbreviation for the lot you are in within the details

bac, I just think fans are tired of the losing. String together a couple 7-5 and 8-4 seasons and the blue lot PP level will be more than 40 in the blink of an eye.

Does the ticket office sell tickets and parking tags for single games on the open market, as many season ticket and parking tag buyers do? I've always thought so. Their published donation and priority point thresholds are not diminished enough to reflect season ticket and parking tag patronage. I bet with the declining numbers they will be more willing to negotiate with season ticket buyers who call in inquiring what it would take to upgrade their parking and seat locations, ignoring some of the published figures, as long as it means more money to the Athletics Dept.

A) No.

B) The ticket office doesn't have that latitude. It's a service provider. If you want to "negotiate" your benefits, you would have to do that with Athletic Development. If you want to cut a deal with Athletic Development, you have to donate enough for them to talk to you in the first place. In which case you wouldn't be trying to "negotiate" the price of a single parking pass.

a few here, including myself predicted a downward revision of points needed, mainly because we just came off a 2-10 season

I think we next here that the number of season ticket holders
drops also

I hope if any here dropped their season passes, they try to make
it to a bunch of games, buying them as they come up!
We dropped all 11 just could not afford the tickets and all the extras, just too much for us and we had been 20 year ticket holders.

Now we know why the Build Fund is struggling. Big donors pulling all the weight.

This. You can only get extra passes from Athletic Development. Initially they'll tell you they don't have any passes. But they'll find parking passes if you donate enough. If you're worried about negotiating the price of the extra pass from $50 to $30, there's a good chance that you don't donate enough.

It's actually two things, if you really want to get into the details. It's about the donations, but it's also about cultivating that relationship.

dropping their tix and or not electing to donate money to get into a lot and pay big bucks for just to park in the blue lot

I think there's a ceiling on that behavior. I agree that we've had ticket holder attrition. I don't subscribe to the idea that dropping your donations and just spinning the wheel on parking is a sustainable practice.

I'm sure we will have a slight drop in season ticket holders. But the point total drop is bc we did Not inflate points with all sorts of gimmicks like we did in years past.

I know a bunch of people that have dropped many of their tickets this year where they have had multiple tickets in the past.

The main reason is now they have to pay the personal seat license fee(call it what you want) for each seat. Before they could donate a certain amount(I think the figure was over $5000) and get as many tickets as they wanted to pay for with only paying the cost of the ticket. Now the system has changed this year and they have to pay for each seat license(call it whatever you want) that they have and many have downgraded not wanting to pay all the additional donation money per seat owned.

Best of Luck,
Groz

Last Year, (with decline in parentheses)

Scarlet: 123 (-23)
Green: 64 (-4)
Yellow: 54 (same)
Blue: 36 (-17)
Purple: 23 (-8)
Black: 17 (-8)
Silver: 10 (eliminated?)
Light Blue: 1+
Tan: 1+

Scarlet ADA: 65
White ADA: 40
Blue ADA: 1+
----------------------------

I only know yellow, since I've been in that lot for many years, but it was as high as 71 two years ago and 64 three years ago, so 54 is quite the drop. We've been 14-15 tickets for the past 5+ years, so no change for us.

We had 9 then we had 7, last year 5 and this year none. I used to have multiple groups of people to fill in the extras. Last year regulars were splitting season tickets. Yankee stadium game, increased ticket costs blah blah blah. Losing sucks. Losing by 70 sucks even more. No one wants to waste entire days to watch that. While the tailgate is the reason most came, if the game has no hope it just hurts the appeal. Win and they'll all come back.

I had enough PP for Blue, asked to remain in Purple, but was sent back to Black.
Did you donate at least $250 to qualify for Purple? If so,and you designated that lot as a higher preference than Black then contact the ticket office and they will correct it and assign you Purple. This happened to me a couple years ago and they fixed it.

If you didn't donate at least $250, then you don't qualify for Purple (Blue is $500 donation) no matter how many points you have.

Hobbs did not schedule this game!!!
True but it's also true he's responsible for any future scheduled games there. And if we schedule another home game there and it's bundled into the season ticket pricing, I will not renew, I will cease donations, etc.

but I think we lost alot of those frontrunners who came on board after 2006 and more importantly those intrigued by the move into the Big 10...not necessarily Rutgers fans but fans of football that we had at least hoped to tap into
