This didn't get much attention when it was first reported, but the trends are unmistakable...traditionally low Black voter turnout for midterms is hurting Democrats. This story first appeared and was buried under the Congressional special runoff here in Georgia a few months back that was the most expensive in history.
Now new voter registrations are clear, with better jobs and a more positive economic outlook, Black voters are not feeling the Love for Democrats as intensely. Also causing "red sirens" for Leftists...more Blacks are warming to the idea of pulling a Trump lever come 2020!:scream:
Black voters aren't turning out for the post Obama Democrat party:
excerpt:
"the Georgia 6 April primary was a continuation of some 2016 turnout trends too — trends that should worry Democrats. In 2016, turnout among whites was up across the country, and in highly educated areas like the 6th District in the suburbs of Atlanta. This redounded to Democrats’ advantage. At the same time, black turnout was down precipitously, from 66 percent in 2012 to 59 percent in 2016. This black-white turnout gap continued in the first round of Georgia’s special election, where the Democrats got impressive turnout levels from all races and ethnicities — except African-Americans."

Black support for Trump is rising into the "danger zone" for Democrats
excerpt:
"The latest YouGov/Economist poll (May 6-8), one of a few that comprehensively breaks down support by ethnicity, has some frightening news for the Democratic Party.
While President Trump’s approval holds steady among registered voters at 41 percent, his support among blacks in this poll is striking. If it holds for 2020, it could be devastating for Democrats. Among African-Americans, 16 percent approve of Trump, 10 percent are not sure, and 75 percent disapprove"
...still more
"If Black support for Trump gets into double figures, the Democratic Party will have to look for different themes than Russia or Stormy Daniels and other such nonsense. Their failure to present an economic focus in 2016 contributed greatly to Hillary’s loss. To do so again, especially with Black voters, could end in utter disaster"
